Business Relocation

Business relocations: for company moves of up to 20 workstations, VDW Verhuizingen is the right partner.
We are also frequently called upon for internal office relocations, for example in the case of a reorganization.
Additionally, we often work with residents of institutions, typically coordinated through a designated contact person. For business relocations, we use specialized equipment such as meter crates, low loaders, and rolling carts.
An experienced furniture technician will also be present to level desks and set up various types of equipment.

Expat Relocations

VDW has relocated many individuals from Germany, Italy, England, and France who moved within or outside of Amsterdam.
There is often a preference for a full-service move, which aligns perfectly with our approach.
Our moving advisor speaks multiple languages and provides a tailored quotation on-site.

Senior Relocations

A senior relocation is a category of its own.
We can confidently say that these types of moves suit us perfectly. They typically involve a high level of service and specific personal wishes.
For many seniors, moving is an emotional event—and we are fully mindful of that.

For senior relocations, we distinguish the following options:

1) Moving only the large furniture

2) Moving large furniture and boxes (packaging materials provided on loan)

3) Full relocation including disassembly and reassembly of furniture

4) Full relocation including disassembly/reassembly and packing service—
the so-called Full Service option.

Additional services may include:
– Removal of excess furniture to charity or waste disposal
– Removal of curtain rails
– Disconnection of ceiling lights
– Removal of carpet or laminate
– Delivery of the home broom-clean

If you choose a Full Service relocation, we always start the work one day in advance.

Evictions

Whether it’s a full house clearance or delivering an empty commercial space, VDW is the right partner.
We have all the necessary equipment and manpower.

The services we can provide include:

• Transport of usable furniture to thrift shops or charitable organizations.
• Disposal of unusable furniture at the waste facility (for recycling).
• Removal of curtain rails.
• Disconnection of ceiling lights.
• Removal of carpet or laminate flooring.
• Broom-clean delivery of homes or business premises.
• Moving lift service and supply of packing materials.
• Delivery of items to multiple addresses (e.g., to family members) is possible.
• Light demolition work, such as removing built-in closets, kitchen units, or bathrooms, can be arranged.
• Storage of (part of) the contents is also possible.
